SOLAR POWER SOLAR DRYER
dryer using solar energy is used for drying any fruit, vegetables and herbs.
Design Notes:
first Collector - used the housing from the old "kaloryferowego" solar collector and a piece of tin roofing.
second Hair is a standard kitchen cupboard, so. forty mounted inside the mesh shelves and drilled holes for air inlet and outlet. Hole diameter - suitable for held fan.
3. I used to power the solar fan (a collection of some old, parallel connected, 9V battery).
4th Dimensions - any, in my solution manifold is 70/150/13 cm.
Operating Notes:
- In some cases (containing lots of juicy fruit pulp) solar drying process takes very long and, of course, because of this, and not another structure of the universe, there is a break in the night (the collector heats, fan does not matter). The solution can be mounted on the bottom of the dryer electric heater (2 - 3 watt bulb 100th) and a small 12th voltowego power supply fan. Such a solution distorts the ecology - a savings nature of our projects - but it is a solution.
- Grid for drying - in the first approach used a galvanized mesh. However, (ecology, health, etc), the solution is given up to the bins made of thin wooden litewek - Sisyphean work, but I have no remorse that grandchildren are eating dried plums with lead, tin or other metal "crap."

Where To Get Whippets
Engine powered by solar energy - a toy of a teaching demonstration. Figure
explain the essence and image of the structure. The dimensions are determined owned solar cell (often a single cell can be purchased for so-called. Pennies on the Allegro).
Notes on construction:
- motor efficiency (work on "weak" sun) depends primarily the accuracy of the axle assembly - the socket axis and the balance across the border - useful at this point patience and pinpoint accuracy,
- the beginning and end of the coil, we combine directly with (+) and (-), solar battery,
- glue a magnet to the wooden support "a drop" or resin.
to start the engine needs a setting sun and the manual start.
